All attendees (including students) need a ticket due to auditorium capacity (Students performing on stage do not need a ticket, any student watching in the audience does)

Volunteers Needed!

URGENT NEED!

Fall Arts Fest is in need of chaperones. There are still 5 openings that must be filled by Friday. 

All volunteers receive a free ticket to the show.  Backstage volunteers can take turns watching so they will not miss their student's performance.   

If you'll be there anyway with your students, help out Mr. McFatter and all the Fine Arts teachers to make this event a success!

Book Character Day + Red Ribbon Week "Scare off Drugs" Day - TOMORROW

Hey Sudie Fam! We are hosting our annual Book Character Day tomorrow! Students may choose a character from any book to dress up following these guidelines:

  • Bring the book you are representing
  • Remember to follow the school dress code
  • Characters should be chosen that aren’t violent or too scary
  • Masks are allowed but must be removed during instruction
  • If you do not want to wear a costume, you can wear spirit wear or your uniform

Dyslexia Meetings in November

Our Sudie's Dyslexia Interventionist, Ms. Hodge, has two parent meetings in the month of November. 

The first meeting will be held Friday, November 3rd at our November session of Coffee with the Principal at 9am. 

The second meeting will be held November 8th at 6pm in person in the Sudie Library. 

Some topics that will be discussed are 'What is Dyslexia', 'House Bill 3928', 'Ways to help at home'. These meetings are held for parents of students with Dyslexia. All are welcome to attend.

Boo-Grams Orders Due

👻 BOO! 👻 Tomorrow, October 27th, is the last day to purchase Boo-Grams! Get yours here today or purchase tomorrow before school in the front foyer.  


These will be delivered next week. Cheerleaders have been hard at work packaging and selling 👻

Big Thought Spooky Mic Night

Big Thought is having a family engagement event on October 31st and hope that you are able to attend and see some of the work the students are doing. Any staff, students or families in the building at the time are also welcome to stop and see what is happening.  

Grandfriends Day

We would love to have our students’ grandparents and other grandfriends join us at Sudie’s campus for Grandfriends Day on Friday, November 17, 2023!

If grandfriends are visiting multiple students in both elementary and middle school, they are permitted to attend only the morning or only the afternoon event, and all of their students may join them at the selected time.    

September Volunteer of the Month

Congrats to our September volunteer of the month, Corey Admire. She was nominated for all of her efforts as the Chair of the SBDM Building & Facilities subcommittee ensuring that the bond money allocated to Sudie is utilized. 

She received this exclusive Top Banana Award trophy and a special thank you gift from the PTA for dedicating so much time and energy to the school.

Picture Retakes

SAY CHEESE! Monday, November 13th, LifeTouch will return to take Picture Retakes. 

The retakes will be held in the morning at the Sudie Auditorium. As these photos will be used for our Sudie Yearbook, please have your students come in their Best Free Dress! 

If your student is NOT retaking their photo, they are expected to wear their Sudie uniform.

Class of 2023 Legacy Gift Donation

The Sudie Class of 2022-2023 dedicated an outdoor chess table during a dedication ceremony during homecoming week.

From Principal Ladipo: Chess is the language of different generations. Now thanks to the 22-23 Sudie Alumni past, current and future Sudie Lions can continue the Chess Tradition!

8th GRADE NEWS
Scoliosis Screening

Scoliosis screenings for 8th-grade boys will take place on 10/30/23 and 10/31/2023. The students will be screened during Health class. They have to remove their shirt unless they wear a compression shirt. If they do not want to participate, Nurse Bennett must be informed by 10/28/2023.

Fundraising Request Form

If you are interested in scheduling a fundraiser for a Sudiie club or grade level please fill out the below form.


The principal is responsible for collecting, controlling, disbursing, and accounting for all school activity funds.  


The Board of Control (BOC) meets once a month (last Friday). All fundraiser requests must be submitted to Ms. Anyssa Diaz (in the google form) by noon on the last Friday.
