Guest speaker Officer Tony Newsome will be speaking to our parents. He currently serves as the training and community outreach specialist for the Dallas Police Department for DISD.
His training includes, internet safety tips, cyberbullying, internet gaming and dangers of social media.

What is a TAG Talk?
A TAG Talk is an in-person program focused on navigating life as parents of talented and gifted children sponsored by the PTA. This is the first of (hopefully) many programs, each tackling a different obstacle affecting families of TAG scholars.

Free Dress Fridays
Hey Sudie Fam! Free Dress Fridays are back!! Every Friday (& only on Fridays) Free Dress day passes will be sold outside the cafeteria and/or front foyer only in the morning. The passes are $2 each - CASH ONLY.
Students are only allowed to wear free dress on the Friday when their pass is purchased. No ripped jeans are allowed & please ensure all free dress is appropriate. All proceeds go to student enrichment activities!

We will be mixing up the stock the lounge program in the new year. Please sign up for your family to sponsor a week.
We have TWO SPOTS AVAILABLE for the spring semester!! The mission of the Girls Healing Circles is to inform and inspire 4th-6th grade girls so they grow up to be self-confident young ladies who appreciate their bodies, know how to process emotions in a healthy way, and look to other girls as sisters rather than as competition.
Five 90 minute circles after school (one Friday afternoon per month, starting Jan. 26th).
Circles are FUN and include drum circles and arts & crafts!
Includes Neuroacoustic soundtracks designed to improve sleep, emotional resilience, and anxiety (for optional at-home use).
Circles are led by a Sudie mom who is also a Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist and Emotion Release Practitioner.
AIT offers coaching in flexibility, coordination, and agility to children (8-12 years old) starting January 2024. The program is focused on enhancing performance and designed with aspiring athlete in mind.

Coyote Rock presents the audience with a unique storytelling performance that weaves together movement, literacy, and videography, with a focus on education and sharing Indigenous culture and history. Some performances feature installation, elevating the overall atmosphere. They also incorporate dance, traditional instruments and props to enhance the storytelling experience. For audiences 6 and older.

Dismissal Changes
If you need to change your student's dismissal/after school transportation, please communicate your change to Ms. Diaz or Ms. Carballos by email, phone or Remind NO LATER than 3:30pm.
This is to ensure that all students receive dismissal directions within an early enough time frame. Please DO NOT text your student dismissal changes as students are NOT allowed to use their cell phones during instructional hours 8:35am-3:55pm.

Fundraising Request Form
If you are interested in scheduling a fundraiser for a Sudie club or grade level please fill out the below form.
The principal is responsible for collecting, controlling, disbursing, and accounting for all school activity funds.
The Board of Control (BOC) meets once a month (last Friday). All fundraiser requests must be submitted to Ms. Anyssa Diaz (in the google form) by noon on the last Friday.
