TAG Talk was a success!

A big THANK YOU to everyone that came out for our inaugural TAG Talk collaboration with Travis TAG. Our guest speaker, Dr. Teresa Madson, led us through an insightful and engaging lesson on The Start to our Happiest Life. We are so thankful for the attendance and support of our Sudie and Travis TAG communities and we're already looking forward to our next event!

We want to share this video that Dr. T recommended to us...the importance of play.

Girls Healing Circles

4th - 6th grade girls -

We have TWO SPOTS AVAILABLE for the spring semester!! The mission of the Girls Healing Circles is to inform and inspire 4th-6th grade girls so they grow up to be self-confident young ladies who appreciate their bodies, know how to process emotions in a healthy way, and look to other girls as sisters rather than as competition.

  • Five 90 minute circles after school (one Friday afternoon per month, starting Jan. 26th).
  • Circles are FUN and include drum circles and arts & crafts!
  • Includes Neuroacoustic soundtracks designed to improve sleep, emotional resilience, and anxiety (for optional at-home use).
  • Circles are led by a Sudie mom who is also a Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist and Emotion Release Practitioner.

MISSION POSSIBLE
Debate Results

Out of about 40 schools, 91 teams, and nearly 300 debators, our 5th Grade Sudie Lions placed 3rd overall! We had 4 teams competing, and they all contributed to that placement.

Individual awards were also given to students who demonstrated strong speaking skills and scored well in that area.

Receiving silver medals were Aubrey Calzada Sanchez, Rose Brantley, and Mallory Squibb.

Our gold medalist was Arnav Dand.

We had two members rank in the top ten of this category—Gardner Fedro and Ezra Detzel. This was their first time ever competing in debate!

TMSCA GEAR UP

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who participated in TMSCA GEAR UP, especially our Elementary students competing on the Middle School level!

Please join me in congratulating these students who placed in the top 15 of the STATE in the largest and most competitive 6A category!

And a SUPER SUDIE SHOUT OUT to Francesco Montillo, who placed in the top 15 in all 4 TMSCA events!
