A heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every Sudie family that participated in our FIRST ANNUAL Around The World, The Sudie Way!
It was an incredible experience learning about the cultures of our diverse community, indulging in international cuisine and enjoying live entertainment. Highlights included cultural games and experiences, henna tattoos, tai chi lessons, flamenco, bollywood and folklorico dancing and so much more.
Students filled their Sudie Passports and earned house points for their participation, and all attendees went home with full hearts AND bellies.
The Sudie PTA would like to thank all our North Texas Giving Day donors and all the participants who poured so much time and love into this event. It would not have been possible without you! See you next year!
Spring Picture Day
SAY CHEESE! Tuesday, February 20th, LifeTouch will return to take Spring Pictures. The pictures will be held in the morning in the Sudie Auditorium.

All presenters will be assigned a classroom where they will host four 25-minute sessions. Each session will consist of a 20-minute presentation and a 5-minute Q&A. Smart screens available.

Brandy and Tim spearheaded Sudie Sports and put in many hours organizing it the last few years. As we transition into Sudie Sports 2.0 with Ms. Hammond supporting it, we wanted to thank Brandy & Tim again for their time and efforts!

Cheer Tryouts
CALLING ALL SUDIE LIONS!!
All are welcome to TRY IT OUT!!
We will have cheer clinics on 2/20 and 2/22 to learn what to do at tryouts. Tryouts are on 2/26.
All who come out can be placed on a team depending upon interest and level of commitment wanted.
* Gold Squad (Competing middle school team - highest level of commitment capped at 18 members),
* Blue Squad (Non-competing middle school team - medium level of commitment. Need at least 10 girls to form this team),
* Green Squad (Elementary team - medium level of commitment)

Black History Month
Sudie is excited to celebrate the rich history, stories, and achievements of African Americans throughout our nation, state, county, and district during Black History Month.
Each day students will have the opportunity to answer trivia questions that encourage the learning and celebration of Black History. The students who answer correctly will win a prize!

Every Friday (& only on Fridays) Free Dress day passes are sold outside the cafeteria and/or front foyer only in the morning. The passes are $2 each - CASH ONLY.
Students are only allowed to wear free dress on the Friday when their pass is purchased. No ripped jeans are allowed & please ensure all free dress is appropriate. All proceeds go to student enrichment activities!
If you need to change your student's dismissal/after school transportation, please communicate your change to Ms. Diaz or Ms. Carballos by email, phone or Remind NO LATER than 3:30pm.
This is to ensure that all students receive dismissal directions within an early enough time frame. Please DO NOT text your student dismissal changes as students are NOT allowed to use their cell phones during instructional hours 8:35am-3:55pm.

Fundraising Request Form
If you are interested in scheduling a fundraiser for a Sudie club or grade level please fill out the below form.
The principal is responsible for collecting, controlling, disbursing, and accounting for all school activity funds.
The Board of Control (BOC) meets once a month (last Friday). All fundraiser requests must be submitted to Ms. Anyssa Diaz (in the google form) by noon on the last Friday.
