PTO Auction Update

⏱️ Let’s get ready to bid, support, and PARTY on Saturday at our Annual PTO Auction!


What a great start to Auction Week with the commencement of bidding — we are currently over $19,000 in sales! SudieDads.com is your one-stop shop for the Auction. 


  • Tickets: We are almost at capacity with an allotment of 10 tickets remaining, so don’t procrastinate. We will not be able to accept walk-ins at the door. Visit SudieDads.com to secure the last few spots.
    • Don’t worry if you can’t attend, you can still bid. Process the “Online Bid Access” ticket, input your credit card, and get to spending.


  • Our next Silent Auction drop will be Parties & Baskets! These items will make their appearance in the catalog earlier, but be available for PURCHASE on Thursday at 8pm. 


  • Review the attached FAQ flyer for information on attire, schedule, food, and auction item pickup.

PTA General Meeting, May 9th, 6:30PM

Join us on Thursday, May 9th for our final PTA meeting on zoom! We will be voting on the proposed 2024-2025 budget and announcements to finish out the year and prepare for the next! 


PTA will be sharing information on purchasing school supplies from EduKit for 2024-2025.


In August, Sudie PTA will be sponsoring our Used Uniform Sale. Start gathering up the clothing your child has outgrown. Bins will be placed in front of the school to collect in May! 

Be sure to review the Student Dress Code. 4th & 5th grade - navy and white polos and 6th-8th grade hunter green and white polos. The full dress code is in the 'Previously Shared Information' below.

Youth Violence Prevention Day

This year, Dallas ISD has identified May 7th as Youth Violence Prevention Day. In remembrance of Alex Orange, a high school senior whose death by gun violence inspired the founding of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) in 1989, all students can wear orange with jeans or their school uniform Tuesday, May 7th

Sudie Movie Night

Bring a chair or a blanket and join us on the blacktop at Sudie for Family Movie Night on Saturday, May 11th.  The Mitchells v. The Machines, a funny and heartwarming film, is a favorite among kids and parents alike, and we can't wait to watch it with you and our incoming Sudie families.  We'll have door prizes and giveaways, too.  You don't want to miss this!

Updated COVID-19 Guidance

The Texas Department of State Health Services has updated its school exclusion criteria to align the requirement for COVID-19 with those for other respiratory viruses like flu. 

Students now only need to be excluded from school until they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.  

Free Dress Fridays

Every Friday (& only on Fridays) Free Dress day passes are sold outside the cafeteria and/or front foyer only in the morning. The passes are $2 each - CASH ONLY.


Students are only allowed to wear free dress on the Friday when their pass is purchased. No ripped jeans are allowed & please ensure all free dress is appropriate. All proceeds go to student enrichment activities!

Dismissal Changes

If you need to change your student's dismissal/after school transportation, please communicate your change to Ms. Diaz or Ms. Carballos by email, phone or Remind NO LATER than 3:30pm. 

This is to ensure that all students receive dismissal directions within an early enough time frame. Please DO NOT text your student dismissal changes as students are NOT allowed to use their cell phones during instructional hours 8:35am-3:55pm.

Fundraising Request Form

If you are interested in scheduling a fundraiser for a Sudie club or grade level please fill out the below form.


The principal is responsible for collecting, controlling, disbursing, and accounting for all school activity funds.  


The Board of Control (BOC) meets once a month (last Friday). All fundraiser requests must be submitted to Ms. Anyssa Diaz (in the google form) by noon on the last Friday.
