As we continue into the 2025-2026 school year, it is clear to see that success continues to be our Lions Roar! Last Friday highlighted this with our magical house sorting that welcomed our new students fully into the Sudie system and with Amazing news about our 2024-2025 Accountability rating. Due to the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and community, we are elated to announce that we received an A rating from the TEA with an overall score of 99 and all 7 distinctions! This rating puts us at the top of not only the district but also the state, showing that at Sudie, we are providing a superior education that empowers, equips and elevates all students! I could not be more honored to get to be a part of this amazing school and to continue sustaining and building the legacy of success that has been created at Sudie!
This week, Sudie students have been completing their I-Ready and MyPath diagnostic tests. This is a great opportunity for you to check in with your student about their goals for this year, the steps they will take to accomplish their goals and how we all can support them. Additionally, since we know that it is not just our academics but also our enrichment opportunities that help Sudie shine, we encourage you to join our Activity Fair this Thursday evening at 6:30 pm on Zoom to learn about opportunities for your student to discover their passions and build their leadership abilities.
Next week we have picture day. We encourage all students to come in their best dress on Tuesday, August 26th, for elementary and Thursday, August 28th, for middle school. If students decide not to dress up for their specific picture day, they are expected to be in their Sudie uniform.

We love our wonderful teachers and staff at Sudie! Please help us show our appreciation by volunteering to be a Secret Pal. Secret Pals are asked to drop a little gift ($20-$40) for their paired staff member during a designated week each month from September to May. Thank you!
Sudie TAG Community! It's time to support our school in a huge, yet simple way...stocking the lounges with snacks! Providing a daily snack/treat is the perfect way to remind our amazing staff/faculty how much we appreciate them!
Each grade level is being asked to provide snacks for all staff/faculty for a specific month (details in SUG)! The total number of staff/faculty is 44, and any extra snacks will be shared in the main lounge for our bus drivers.

Free Dress Fridays are back! Starting Friday, September 5th!
Season Passes are available for purchase here from Monday, August 25th, to Friday, August 28th. The link will not be live until the 25th.
Picture Day is Next Week!
Elementary will take their photos on Tuesday, August 26th, and Middle will take theirs on Thursday, August 28th!
Students can wear their best dress or a Sudie uniform.
These photos will be used for our Sudie yearbook and their student IDs.

Locker Use Agreement forms were distributed during Middle School advisory on August 18.
NOTE: Completing the form is optional; only students who would like to have a locker need to submit one, as the number of lockers is limited. The deadline to turn in forms is Friday, August 29.
