This past week has been full of fall fun at Sudie TAG! Our first annual Sudie Night of Thrills was phenomenal! I am so thankful for the leadership of Ms. Carballos and Sudie cheer for creating an exceptional Trunk or Treat. Ms. Pantalion and House Council transformed our elementary hallway into a haunted house that could rival professional ones. I am also grateful for Sudie PTA for sponsoring a witchy movie night! This event highlighted why There’s No Place Like Sudie and that is because of the partnership between our school staff and our community to create exceptional experiences for our Sudie Lions!
Our community also came together on Saturday evening for OktoROARfest! This was a great event allowing Sudie parents to connect while also making plans for some amazing events that our students will be able to participate in this year! I am grateful for how our community creates moments of connection and invests in our students and Sudie!
I also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge a few of our amazing staff members:
Ms. Diaz is our Support Staff of the Year award winner! She works hard day in and day out to keep Sudie running smoothly. Every student, family and staff member has experienced her kind and helpful spirit and we are grateful for all she does to ensure that Sudie shines! I am so grateful to get to work with an Office Manager who is so wise, knowledgeable, and has impeccable character, and I know that she is a large part of the success that Sudie has!
Ms. Hammond has been recognized as our Teacher of Promise! The work she has put into making her classroom culture comfortable, welcoming and engaging is seen not only by our 4th grade Lions but also by every teacher, admin and staff member at Sudie! She lifts up every student and staff member through her positive spirit and her push to continually grow and learn.
We are so excited to announce that Lauren Bailey is our 25-26 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Bailey makes anyone who has the honor of interacting with her better. The expertise, passion and creativity she brings to her work inspires students to be learners and leaders and to use their gifts to better the world around them. Her impact is not just seen daily at Sudie but through our Sudie alumni who are better readers, writers, thinkers and people because they had her as a teacher. She opens up a world of possibilities for all those at Sudie TAG!
I am honored to get to work and learn with these (and all) Superior Sudie staff members and grateful that they have invested their talents and gifts at our campus.

A Staff option is also available!For $1, you can add your child's name to a card accompanying Crumbl cookies for a specific staff member, and for $20, you can add their name to ALL the staff members' Crumbl cookie treats!

The Fall Arts Festival will take place on Thursday, October 30th, in the Sudie Auditorium, starting at 6:00 PM.
