This week has been a wonderful start to the 10 Days of Sudie Holiday Cheer! Our students and staff have taken inspiration from Cindy Lou Who and approached situations with kindness and curiosity, bringing life and light to our campus. We are looking forward to spreading encouragement on Wednesday, seeing our favorite Elfs on Thursday, and celebrating in our best Holiday sweaters this Friday! Our 10 Days of Holiday Cheer would not be possible without the amazing support of our PTA, PTO, and grade-level parents. Thank you all for your support of the Sudie community, our students, and our staff.
Next week, we will continue our Holiday Cheer and embark on end-of-semester exams. The testing schedule is below. We do have an important update that the early release dismissal time on Friday, December 19th, has been changed to 12:15 p.m.
As we close out the semester, we encourage students to get plenty of rest, do their best on their assessments and enjoy all the fun this season holds. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and growth our Sudie students have shown this fall, and we look forward to finishing the semester strong together.

This year we are also offering a book pre-sale for The Disengaged Teen, with a book signing and distribution at the event. Interabang Books will be participating in a give-back program with 15% of pre-sales donated to Sudie TAG and Travis TAG PTAs. PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY HERE.
What is a TAG Talk?
A TAG Talk is an in-person educational program focused on navigating life as parents of talented and gifted children sponsored by the PTA. TAG Talk is a yearly program, with each year's topic tackling a different obstacle affecting families of TAG students.

Winter Concert is this week on Thursday, December 11th, starting at 5:00 PM in the Sudie Auditorium!! 🎶
We still need volunteers, so please consider signing up through this link!
Please join us to get in the holiday spirit by enjoying great music from the Orchestra, Choir, and Modern Band!!
The order of performances with anticipated times:
5:00PM- Orchestra
5:50PM- Modern Band 1
6:20PM- 6th Grade Choir
6:40PM- Varsity Vocal Ensemble
7:00PM- Modern Band 2
7:15PM- Modern Band 3

We will begin our fall semester testing on December 3rd. All grade levels will test today and Thursday.
Please ensure your students bring their charged Chromebooks, chargers & wired headphones.

The Sudie Cultural Festival will be held on February 28, 2026!
You won't want to miss this incredible afternoon filled with live performances, traditional foods, arts, crafts, and more, showcasing all the vibrant cultures that are a part of our Sudie Fam!
Save the date! The middle school winter dance will be January 23rd from 6:00-8:30. All current Sudie 6th, 7th and 8th graders may attend.
Admission is free, and registration and concession sales will open on 1/7/26.
