We hope that everyone had a super start to the second semester! We have enjoyed getting to see our students engage again in their extracurriculars, especially as they prepare for upcoming competitions, celebrate their learning growth over the school year, and continually engage in their studies! This Friday, our 4th graders embark upon their Austin Capstone Trip, which is sure to be a highlight of the 2025-2026 school year!
This week, all students should have received the report card (on blue paper). Students should also be able to speak to their results on their first semester assessments (Standard Mastery Checks and ACPs). This is a great time to acknowledge the growth and success your students are showing while also having discussions about the goals for the rest of the school year! As always, whether it is through our 4th and 5th grade websites or weeks at a glance, or the middle school newsletter, our faculty works hard to provide updated information about students' learning topics, projects or assessments.
Additionally, yesterday a letter was sent home (a physical copy with each student as well as a copy sent via Remind and email) requesting input on the proposed school hour change for the 2026-2027 school year. We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback, as we know that any shift in school hours has a significant impact on your family's schedule. As a reminder, the survey (link here) will close this Friday, January 16th, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Thank you for providing your feedback!
