Sudie Calendar

DISD Calendars

Hello Sudie Families!

I hope that all of our Lions stayed safe and warm over this winter weather weekend. I’d like to give a special Sudie shoutout to our Custodial team Mr. Collier, Mr. Gayan and Ms. Mayra for helping ensure our school could weather the winter storm!

This week will be a short but exciting one that will culminate in our Middle School Winter Dance on Friday evening. Thank you to the 6th grade level representatives and the dance committee for working so hard over the past few months to make this a magical night under the Northern Lights and extra gratitude for their flexibility when it came to the winter weather.

Next week we will have our Rescheduled Parent Conferences on Tuesday, February 3rd, from 4:45 pm to 8:00 pm. We will also celebrate our super support staff next week! I could not be more grateful for the professionalism, dedication and spirit that our office staff, counselor, nurse, librarian, teacher assistants and campus monitor bring to Sudie every day. They truly do so much to make sure everyday is a super day at Sudie!

As a closing reminder, the Dallas ISD Magnet and Choice School application window closes this Saturday, January 31st. If you know someone interested in applying to Sudie TAG, the admissions section of our website can guide them through the application process. If you have an 8th grader applying for a Dallas ISD choice or magnet school, please encourage them to reach out to Counselor Brown or any of our staff if they need additional support or guidance.

Hope to see everyone at TAG Talks, it is sure to be a great one!

Thank you for your support of your student and Sudie!
