We hope that everyone enjoyed the Valentine’s and Presidents’ Day weekend! This week at Sudie, we are celebrating Random Acts of Kindness week! We are excited to see our students and staff make Sudie shine with kindness this week and beyond!
We are also two weeks away from the conclusion of the 3rd nine-weeks, with Friday, March 6th, being the last day. While I know many of you join me in being astounded that the 2025-2026 school year continues to fly by, we also have the opportunity to finish strong. Over this next week, please take time to check in with your students about their grades and their goals for their classes. Feel free to ask our middle school students to show you their Taking Care of Business trackers, which they complete every Tuesday in Advisory, or ask all students to show you their planners and discuss upcoming due dates. We know our students have the support and skills to continually demonstrate to the greater Dallas area why there is no place like Sudie!
Next week, we will continue our STAAR simulator (mock STAAR) testing on Tuesday (science) and Wednesday (math). We will also get to celebrate the beauty of the Sudie community with Around the World the Sudie Way! I hope everyone will join us to learn about the cultures that mean so much to our community!
