This week at Sudie we are celebrating Start with Hello week on campus! Our SAVE promise leaders have done a wonderful job planning activities to ensure that all Sudie Lions know they belong at our great school! Start with Hello and SAVE promise are initiatives that were created by the Sandy Hook Promise organization to ensure that all students contribute to a safe and supportive school culture. We are thankful for how our students (and staff) support each other and how they understand the importance of actively contributing to a safe campus culture.
In addition to Start with Hello week we have other fun events happening around campus this coming week. Our Elementary and Middle school students will have in-school clubs this week and then Friday evening House Council is hosting our Fall lock-in Sudie Under the Big Top!
We hope that your student is able to join us as it is sure to be a fun evening! Next week we will have our first SBDM meeting on Monday evening. Then on Tuesday evening we will have our 8th Grade DC Parent meeting. Next week also marks the last full week of the 1st nine weeks and I for one cannot believe that the first quarter of this school year is almost done. This is a great time to have conversations with your student about their goals for each of their classes and ensure that they have a plan to accomplish their goal. We know that our Sudie Lions can continue to achieve at the highest levels both inside and outside of the classroom!
