Last week was filled with fun at Sudie! From our middle and elementary school in-school clubs to the House Council lock-in on Friday night our school was filled with joy! We always enjoy the opportunities our students have to build relationships with each other and with our staff!
This week we celebrate our behind the scenes heroes! Mr. Collier, Mrs. Rojas-Bocanegra and Mrs. Hernandez help ensure Sudie can shine. Ms. Combs, Ms. Benton and Ms. Martinez support staff and students alike and ensure we have the fuel to accomplish anything and everything. I am grateful for these invaluable members of our team! Thank you for helping us show our gratitude for their hard work!
Next week marks the end of the first nine weeks and while it is only three days it sure will be busy! Students will take their standard mastery check exams in reading, math, science (5th and 7th grade) and social studies (8th grade). Next Wednesday our 4th graders will also have their learning voyage to the Dallas Arboretum and our 8th graders will voyage to the Frontiers of Flight museum. We are also so pumped that our 8th grade Washington DC trip is almost here! Due to the tireless efforts of our parent sponsors and staff chaperones our 8th graders will have four days filled with incredible experiences!
Thank you for your support in helping us create incredible experiences for our students!
