We are all so excited for our fall break this week! Whether your plans include attending our 8th grade Washington DC trip, going away with family and friends or going to the State Fair of Texas we hope that your student and your family get some well deserved rest over these next few days!
In addition to being fall break week this week has also been exciting at Sudie, because we got to celebrate our 2026-2027 Teacher and Support Staff of the Year! Both of these individuals invest so much in our students and school and are such bright lights at Sudie!
Señora Gomez makes every student, staff and community members day when they get a chance to interact with her! She believes in the potential of everyone and inspires us all to be better! Not only does she build our students’ Spanish language skills, but she builds their confidence within themselves and inspires them to see the beauty in every culture! She makes Sudie super fun by supporting our clubs and activities and filling our halls with laughter.
Ms. Rachal has truly shown that she is a Sudie Lion through and through. With any task, any challenge and any job she commits fully and shows us that anything is possible! Every student, staff and community member who interacts with her walks away filled with joy and encouragement. Ms. Rachal makes Sudie shine with her creativity and infectious positivity and we could not be more proud that we get to know and work with her!
I am so thankful for how Señora Gomez and Ms. Rachal have chosen to invest their talents and gifts here at Sudie TAG. I hope you will join us in celebrating them and the impact they have on us all!
Finally in post-fall break news, parent conference week will be from October 19th-October 23rd. If you need to conference with your students’ teachers please use our Fall Parent Conference sheet to sign up for a specific conference time.
