In accordance with state law, SB12, the District must receive parental consent before a student is permitted to participate in a District- or campus-authorized or sponsored club/activity.

This form must be acknowledged and submitted before the student will be allowed to participate in these clubs/activities. If you have not already signed the form, please do so asap.

Richard H and Thomas S, incoming 8th-graders on the Sudie Debate team, took home Second Place at the NSDA National Speech & Debate Tournament in Richmond, Virginia, this June!

The NSDA National Tournament is the largest speech and debate competition in the world, bringing together competitors from all 50 states and several countries.

The duo advanced all the way to the final round, winning the second place trophy after nine hard-fought rounds debating the feasibility of opening the Arctic for exploration.

Thomas (1st) and Richard (2nd) also swept the top-two Speaker awards in the Middle School Policy Debate division.

The trip capped off a great season of hard work and strong performances by the whole Sudie team.

Students, coaching staff, and parents are already hard at work planning to bring a larger Sudie team to next year's Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona.
