Your 2026-27 PTA Board Members have been hard at work throughout the summer preparing for an AMAZING school year ahead! Several members even attended LAUNCH in July. LAUNCH is Texas PTA's annual training and leadership conference, attended by over 2,000 PTA leaders from across the state. During this 3-day conference, they were able to attend invaluable training, networking and planning sessions. The knowledge learned will be brought to Sudie!

At Launch, Sudie was also recognized as only 1 of 2 DISD schools to earn the Voice for Every Child Platinum Award! Shout out to Heidi Vanderbrook who represented Sudie during the entire 3 day conference

Getting involved in the PTA is a great way for parents to actively be engaged in their child's education. It is also a wonderful way to connect and build community with other parents and teachers. Our Sudie PTA is a vibrant, talented, fun group of parents who work hard to support and advocate for our school! There are SO MANY ways to get involved - from smaller roles that can be done at home to larger, recurrent roles throughout the school year!
